Let's give the writer and artist who cooked up this tale a hearty round of applause. It's a cliche as old as time: gang of outlaws starts trouble in lawless Western town, mysterious stranger comes along, becomes the new sheriff in town and thwarts the bad guys.

Of course, usually in this scenario, the hero is dashing, daring, mysterious and tough as nails. Usually, he's smart, too.

But what would happen if the hero was a complete idiot, succeeding only by sheer naivete and dumb luck? Aw, what the hell, let's take him down another notch. What if he was Beaky Buzzard?
